Step 1:

First of all from the “Start menu” enter in “Desktop” on Windows 8.

Now you will need to open the “Control Panel” by clicking “File Explorer” icon on the left of task bar, and on right side you will see “Control Panel” after choosing “Desktop” under “Favorites”.

Now you will need to tap “System and Security” on the upper left of “Control Panel” in order to adjust computer settings.

Here form “System and Security” you are required to select “BitLocker Drive Encryption”.

Now unlock the drive with password by clicking “Unlock drive” beside the locked hard drive.

Now you are required to enter the password you created in the empty box and then click “Unlock” to move on next step.

It’s time to change the password by choosing “Change password” on the right of the unlocked hard drive.

Step 8:

After typing the old password, type the new password twice in the dialog box and then click “Change password”.
