Step 1:

First of all you will need to enter PhoenixBIOS Setup Utility interface on the Windows 8 computer by quickly pressing BIOS keys F1/F2/F8/F10/F11/F12/Del/Esc without stop. The BIOS key is different depend on brand of your computer such as Acer, Dell, Asus, HP, MSI, IBM, etc. will have different BIOS key.

Step 2:

Now you have to set Supervisor Password without it you will unable to set user password in BIOS. So in order to set supervisor password you are required to select “Security” using right arrow key and then press Enter to set supervisor password.

Step 3:

Press “Enter” after typing the password in order to go to the next box. Reenter the password and press “Enter”.

Step 4:

Once the changes have been saved you are required to tap “Enter” to continue.

Step 5:

It’s time to set “User Password” using up arrow key in order to select “Enter behind Set User Password” and then press “Enter” to move on.

Step 6:

Now type a password in both boxes and press “Enter”. Then click “Enter” to continue.

Step 7:

Finally to save the changes and exit hit F10 key and press “Enter” to save the configuration changes and exit.
