How to Reset the Startup Password as an empty password?
Step 1: First of all you will need to open the “Search bar” and then type “syskey” in the search box. After that you will need to click “syskey” after choosing “Apps”.
Step 2: Now in order to move further you will need to select “Yes” in the “User Account Control” dialog box.
Step 3: Now you can see the “Update” button in the next window, just click that button.
Step 4: Leave the password entry boxes blank and directly click “OK” when the Startup Key window shows up.
Step 5: Finally, You will need to enter the current password and then click “OK” as the “Windows Startup Password” dialog box appears.
How to Remove the Startup Password by changing it into a System Generated Password:
Step 1: First of all you will need to open the “Startup Key” window.
Step 2: Once you have selected the “Store Startup Key Locally”, then you will need to choose “System Generated Password”, and then click “OK”.
Step 3: Finally you will need to input the current password in the Windows Startup Password window and then click “OK”.
